Gan Yisheng, secretary-general of the Communist Party of China's Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, answers questions after a news conference in Beijing September 26, 2006. China has dispatched eight groups of inspectors across the country to investigate the misconduct of senior government officials and leaders of large financial institutions in a renewed campaign to promote government transparency, Gan said on Tuesday.
