Police nailed four robbers one night last week after the crooks mistook their patrol car for a taxi while seeking to escape in a remote area of Changchun in Jilin Province.

The four kidnapped a woman taxi driver that night near a local railway station, raped her and ran away with her money and cab. However, they broke the cab halfway to their destination.

Seeing a minibus driving towards them, they hurried to the vehicle before realizing their mistake. Police urged the victim to contact them through 04317170010 or 13364635522 for further investigation.
