The investment fair for Japanese-funded firms held in Nanjing

NANJING - As an important part of "2006 Golden Autumn Economic and Trade Fair", on September 20, the "Investment Industrial Fair for Japanese-funded Firms in Nanjing" was held in Nanjing Grand Hotel. Vice-major Jin Daoqiang attended the fair.

As informed, this was the largest-scale special promotion meeting for Japanese firms in Nanjing during the Golden Autumn Economic and Trade Fair. Over 90 Japanese representatives attended this fair including such 10 ones of "500 Fortune Enterprises in the World" as Mitsui Corp., Sumitomo Corp., Itochu Corp., Fujitsu.

As learnt, by the end of this June, the number of projects invested by Japanese firms has reached 480 with a total investment of over USD 1.23 billion. At present, the rate of Japanese capitals among all Japanese projects has reached 77%. Totally 17 Japanese firms of "500 Fortune Enterprises in the World" have set up 22 branches in Nanjing.
