On September, 2006, Online reporters from all over China visited Dayingjie village in Yuxi,which is situated in the center of Yunnan Province, only 98 km from Kunming, the capital of the province.

It is not a common village,there are several titles being granted for Dayingjie village, such as the The First Village of Yunnan, the Common Enrichment Example of Chinese Village, the Civilized Village in the Nation-wide Construction of Villages and Towns, the Advanced Unit of National Spirtual Civilization Construction, the Base of Patriotic Education in Yunnan and so forth.

Paths in all directions shaded by the trees, flowers blooming every corner, the Dayingjie village takes responsibilities for people in each age.

More and more strangers with the admiration come here. It's not an overstatement that Dayingjie village is the hope for billions of Chinese countryside.
