Flash floods kill eight in SW

Work sheds are swept away by the flash floods which hit Lengquan Township, Mengzi County, southwest China's Yunnan Province Friday, killing 8, injuring 5, and leaving 27 others missing. The flash floods were caused by torrential rains. Rescuers have arrived at the scene to treat the injured workers and search the missing people, Xinhua News Agency reported. [newsphoto]
