A burglar in Shanghai broke into an apartment recently and relaxed by cooking, watching TV and sleeping until the owner returned home from a trip and seized him.

Ma graduated from university in 2004 and the same year he was jailed for stealing. Last February Ma was set free and started stealing again.

He succeeded in stealing from villas in a residential complex before his arrest. Becoming cocky, Ma decided to stay longer in a villa and relax. On the third day the owner came back and caught Ma sleeping soundly in his bed.
