Vice premier arrives in DPRK for visit

Chinese Vice Premier Hui Liangyu, who heads a Chinese good-will delegation, arrived in Pyongyang on Monday for a six-day visit to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK).

Hui, also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, will attend activities marking the 45th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Assistance between China and the DPRK.

Hui's visit came at the invitation of the DPRK government.
