Abandoned dog in Beijing

Abandoned dogs, one wearing a device that aids walking, play at
Beijing's Human and Animal Environmental Education Center, a shelter for
homeless animals, June 26, 2006. At present, the center houses about 500 animals
and many of them abandoned are either old, weak, sick or disabled.
