China stocks close mixed on Friday

BEIJIG - Chinese shares closed mixed on Friday with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.31 percent, or 6.72 points, to finish at 2,196.08.

The Shenzhen Component Index edged up 0.35 percent, or 29.17 points, to finish at 8,429.82.
