Chinese stocks close down Tuesday

BEIJING - Chinese stocks closed lower on Tuesday with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index dropping by 0.1 percent, or 2.31 points, to close at 2,215.93.
The Shenzhen Component Index slid 0.25 percent, or 22.41 points, to finish at 9,031.67.
