CNPC donates $750,000 to build clinics in Myanmar

China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) has signed contracts with the Ministry of Health of Myanmar on Sunday, donating $750,000 to build 19 clinics in the country.
The donation is part of CNPC's $6 million assistance program to Myanmar.
Officials from CNPC and the Myanmar government attended the signing ceremony held in Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar on Sunday.
CNPC has always attached great importance to enhancing public welfare and carrying out social responsibility in Myanmar ever since it entered the Myanmar market.
According to CNPC, the assistance program has already hired 2,505 Burmese, accounting for more than half of the total employees of the program.
The education aid program was carried out in October, helping Myanmar build eight schools.
A total of $2.04 million out of the $6 million program has been accomplished.
