HONG KONG - Hong Kong stocks closed down 596.51 points, or 2.95 percent, at 19,616.40 on Monday.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 19,830.50 and 19,567.77. Turnover totaled HK$57.66 billion ($7.40 billion).
