Top 100 "Most Competitive" Auto Parts Suppliers Award 2010 was officially launched in Shanghai on Dec 11.

Purchasers from GM, PSA, FIAT, TATA, Valeo, Linamar and more than 200 suppliers attended the launch ceremony. The competition is organized by Gasgoo and supported by more than 20 industry associations, including VDA.

The competition aims to shed light on the changes auto parts suppliers brought about in the past year and to provide purchasers with the newest company information. It is a powerful tool for purchasers as well as suppliers to have a clear idea of the auto industry, and will be an annual event.

China is still an emerging market for the auto industry. It is still too early to say who will become the final winners among OEMs and auto parts suppliers as a fierce marathon competition is ongoing among local and global companies in auto industry.
