China to float 10-year book-entry T-bonds

China's Ministry of Finance (MOF) said Wednesday it would issue 26.64 billion yuan ($3.9 billion) of book-entry T-bonds from Thursday, the 23rd issue of its kind this year.

The bonds, with a 10-year term, have a fixed annual interest rate of 3.44 percent, the ministry said.

Sales of the bonds will run from September 17 to 21, with interest to be calculated yearly on September17.

Interest will be paid every half year, with the principal paid on maturity on Sept 17, 2019.  The bonds will become tradable on Sept 23.
