Retired engineer provides 'capsule rooms' for new grads
Huang Rixin, 78, a retired engineer, rented three rooms in a simple three-story building in Liulangzhuang, Haidian district and renovated them into eight units for the city's "ant tribe".
Inspired by a newspaper article about capsule hotels in Japan - tiny rooms that hold only one person but provide amenities and privacy – Huang decided to help the new grads by providing better accommodations.
