China issues regulations on supervision over administrative law enforcement

BEIJING -- Chinese Premier Li Qiang has signed a State Council decree issuing regulations on supervision over administrative law enforcement.
Consisting of 44 articles across seven chapters, the regulations aim to strengthen and standardize relevant supervision work, enhance law-based administration and the development of a law-based government, and promote strict, procedure-based, impartial and civil law enforcement.
The new regulations will take effect on Feb 1, 2026.
