Several striking "art boxes" scattered throughout the district take on the shapes of clouds or mirror cubes, serving as both daytime landmarks and illuminated night-time attractions. Inside these boxes, visitors can interact with cutting-edge installations such as brainwave visualization, motion-sensing art, sustainable farming simulations and emotion-responsive exhibits.

Major squares in the district are also hosting themed performances day and night. Visitors can explore award-winning AI art created by college students, immersive 3D-mapping visual art, and artificial intelligence generated content presented by the popular social platform Xiaohongshu, all projected on massive screens.

There will be live electronic music performances at Locomotive Square on Friday and Saturday, while on the Saturday and Sunday afternoons, indie musicians from the Echo Record label will take the stage at Center Square, offering an eclectic mix of genres.

Simultaneously, more than 60 exhibitions will be on display throughout 798, with highlights including The Annals of Contemporary Chinese Art: Art and Technology, a solo exhibition by artist Wang Yuyang titled Chaosmosis, and The World of Movementsby the Tao Dance Theater.

If you're planning to attend, tickets can be booked via the WeChat miniprogram for 798 Art District.
