Ministry releases data on general public budget revenue showing slight increases

China's general public budget revenue, the sum of tax revenue and non-tax revenue, reached about 18.65 trillion yuan ($2.62 trillion) in the first ten months of this year, up 0.8 percent year-on-year, according to the Ministry of Finance on Monday.
Of this, the country's tax revenue amounted to some 15.34 trillion yuan, an increase of 1.7 percent compared to the same period last year, while non-tax revenue came in at 3.31 trillion yuan in the first 10 months, marking a year-on-year decrease of 3.1 percent. In 2024, non-tax revenue jumped 25.4 percent year-on-year.
Meanwhile, expenditure in the national general public budget reached 22.58 trillion yuan in the first ten months, representing a year-on-year increase of 2 percent.
