China stresses openness to more trade deals with EU
China is willing to expand mutually beneficial cooperation with the European Union, explore the potential for negotiating various economic and trade agreements, including the investment agreement, and elevate the level of liberalization and facilitation in China-EU trade and investment, a spokesman for the Ministry of Commerce said on Thursday.
China has noted that the EU is actively diversifying its export markets by signing free trade agreements with other countries, according to ministry spokesman He Yadong.
He added that China is currently advancing high-level opening-up, actively aligning with high-standard international economic and trade rules, and steadily expanding institutional opening-up.
China and the EU share extensive common interests and enormous cooperation potential in the economic and trade fields.
