The Huxinting Teahouse, located in Shanghai's Yuyuan Garden complex, reopened to the public last month after nearly two years of restoration. Two special tables are preserved in the teahouse to remember its star guests — Chinese literary master Ba Jin and British Queen Elizabeth II. "These tangible historic connections allow visitors to reconnect with the past," said Rong Xinyu, the teahouse's director.
