Shanghai's Jinshan district to host first high-spec marathon event

Jinshan district will host its first-ever high-spec half marathon event on March 16, the Shanghai Bay Area Half Marathon. This inaugural race aims to showcase the natural beauty, cultural heritage and developmental vitality of Shanghai's Bay area through sports.

The event features a half marathon spanning a total of 21.0975 kilometers and a family fun run of 3.5 kilometers, attracting 4,733 participants from 18 countries and regions.

Among them, 3,459 participants will compete in the half marathon, while 1,274 have registered to join the family fun run.
