As Spring Festival approaches, to ensure that the majority of residents enjoy safe and reliable electricity during the festivities, all units of the State Grid Corporation of China have been planning, deploying, and taking action early. They have comprehensively implemented electricity protection measures for Spring Festival, aiming to guarantee reliable electricity supply during this period.

On Jan 15, following the successful installation and commissioning of two transformers from Yancheng and Zhenjiang, the Suyu Power Supply Service Center of the State Grid Suqian Power Supply Company completed the renovation of the No 1 and No 14 distribution rooms in Suqian New Home Phase II, ensuring normal electricity supply for 400 households during the Spring Festival.

Due to equipment malfunctions in the No 1 and No 14 transformers at Xinxinjiayuan Phase II, two 800KVA transformers were burned out. Given the low daily turnover rate of 800KVA transformers, there is currently no stock in the warehouse in Suqian, Jiangsu province. The estimated delivery time for the temporary material plan will exceed one month, making it insufficient to meet the power supply demand during Spring Festival.

Due to the recent cold wave, the power load in the community has seen a sharp increase, posing a significant risk if low-voltage power supply is utilized. To enhance the reliability of power supply in Xinxinjiayuan Community and ensure residents can safely celebrate Spring Festival, staff members from the Material Department of Suqian Power Supply Company logged into the ERP system. Through the supply chain resource planning and allocation platform, they discovered that there were two 800KVA dry-type transformers in stock, one located in Zhenjiang and the other in Yancheng. The employees promptly submitted an emergency allocation request through the ERP system, successfully completing the cross-city allocation and physical transportation of materials within three days, thereby ensuring the smooth implementation of the on-site project.

It is reported that the supply chain resource planning and allocation platform allows for real-time monitoring of the provincial material reserves, ensuring that materials are readily available for emergency repairs. Moving forward, the Suqian Power Supply Company of State Grid will make every effort to ensure the supply of materials during the peak winter season, providing a robust material guarantee for the safe, reliable, and stable operation of the company's power grid.
