Charging toward challenges - exclusive interview with Olympic swimming champion Pan Zhanle

Returning from the Paris Olympics, Chinese swimming champion Pan Zhanle granted an exclusive interview to China Daily online show Tracking Success. Pan, who won the Olympic gold medal in the 100m freestyle this summer, shattering the world record in the process, said that the most important thing that swimming has taught him is to always face challenges directly. He said his dream has always been to become the world's best athlete in the sport. To achieve this goal, he believes that, as well as devoting time and effort, it is just as important to have a brave heart.
