State Grid Jinhua Power Supply Company recently organized staff members to conduct safety inspections on electrical equipment and supporting lines at popular tourist destinations such as Huatian Meidi Scenic Area and Garden Castle Hotel in Jinhua, Zhejiang province, providing reliable power supply for the travel season.

Huatian Meidi Scenic Area, a lush green area covering approximately 400 hectares, is developed according to 5A-level scenic area standards in China. Using flowers, tea, mountains and water, it integrates the area’s natural beauty into a bigger picture to meet visitors’ pursuit of the pastoral scenery.

State Grid Jinhua Power Supply Company has taken multiple measures to conduct safety inspections and maintenance on the electrical facilities at the Huatian Meidi Scenic Area and related supporting areas to ensure safe and reliable electricity supply at the site.

On-site, staff members conducted comprehensive inspections of key areas, especially the electrical lines and switchgear operating conditions in areas such as hotels, restaurants and tourist reception centers in the scenic area. Staff members carefully examined each distribution box and internal wiring to rectify potential safety hazards. To address emergencies promptly, the company provides 24-hour repair services.

Additionally, in conjunction with the actual use of the electrical lines in the scenic area, the company collaborated to develop a feasible power supply protection plan and emergency response plan. During this period, they also provided safety training to some personnel in the scenic area on safe electricity usage, energy conservation, protection of electrical facilities and common fire safety knowledge to enhance the safety awareness of the scenic area staff.

During the National Day holiday, the company conducted special inspections, infrared temperature measurements and hazard assessments at various scenic tourist areas, bus stations and service areas at highway intersections where new energy electric vehicle charging stations are located. The company operated on a 24-hour duty system, maintained open customer service channels and properly handled customer electricity demands during the holiday season. By responding to customer electricity issues quickly, the company ensured the safe and stable operation of the power grid and injected strong impetus into the development of the local tourism industry.
