China beats US, wins Esports World Cup
The MMR Team from China triumphed in the Strinova tournament at the inaugural Esports World Cup on Tuesday evening, defeating the United States' Super Shuai with a decisive 3-0 sweep in the final.
The MMR Team secured a 2-0 victory against NOVA of Japan earlier on Monday in the semifinals to advance to the final without losing a single game.
Facing the US team Super Shuai, who also entered the final with a winning streak, the MMR Team demonstrated exceptional teamwork and tactical adaptability.
In the following games, the MMR Team maintained their momentum, quickly taking control and winning for the convincing 3-0 victory.
Throughout the entire schedule, the MMR Team remained undefeated, boasting a perfect record of 5 wins and 0 losses. They achieved a total victory, securing the first championship for the Chinese representative team in the shooting event of the EWC.
