One person dead, another missing in Hunan after flood

One person has died and another is still missing in Central China's Hunan province due to mountain flood at a local river, China Central Television reported on Sunday.
The flood occurred at Wuqiangxi township in Huaihua city. The town recorded 399.1 millimeters of rainfall in the 24 hours from Friday to Saturday, surpassing the historical records of six-hour, 12-hour and 24-hour rainfall.
Transports in parts of the township are still within reach and authorities are investigating whether there are other people missing and the overall impact of the disaster, the report said.
