China's parcel delivery sector sees strong increase during recent festival

China's parcel delivery sector handled 2.65 billion parcels during the three-day Dragon Boat Festival, which ended on Monday, according to the State Post Bureau of China.

Among them, 1.29 billion parcels were collected, a year-on-year increase of 25.6 percent; and 1.36 billion were delivered, up 15.4 percent year-on-year.

The parcel delivery sector is gearing up for the peak business season for the upcoming shopping festival this month.
