Worldwide campaign launched to promote youth cooperation
China is encouraging cultural communication and cooperation among youths from around the world to better the mutual understanding of younger generations.
The China International Youth Exchange Center recently launched a campaign, under which a series of pop culture activities will be held from May to November — including a street dancing invitational tournament, comics and animation salons, and pop culture galas. The campaign aims to deepen friendships and promote cultural and innovation-related cooperation among youths around the world.
The center is now collecting design pieces for the campaign — including image packaging designs, logos and posters from people all over the world. The center encourages the world's innovative people, such as independent designers and students and teachers from art schools, to submit their art works, with the collection lasting until May 31.
Certificates of honor and cash bonuses — ranging from 5,000 yuan ($690) to a maximum of 10,000 yuan, will be granted to the outstanding design pieces.
