Family debt dispute ends in fatal tragedy in Jiangxi
A 57-year-old man allegedly killed three family members before taking his own life in a county located in Jiangxi province last Saturday, the local police said in a statement on Wednesday.
The suspect, identified as Wu, reportedly killed his brother, sister-in-law, and their grandson amidst internal family debt disputes, as revealed by the public security bureau in Fuliang county, Jingdezhen city.
An investigation is underway, the police statement said.
According to Jimu News, the suspect's brother held shares and served as an executive in various tea companies across Jiangxi.
Personnel at the Jingdezhen funeral home, as quoted by Jimu, said that they received notification from local authorities on Sunday morning, the day after the incident, and subsequently transported four bodies from the scene.
