Lu Rong, general manager of the customer service department at the Shanghai branch of China Telecom, revealed their plan to extend this service to additional locations while establishing a new outlet at the arrival zone of Terminal 1 at Shanghai Pudong International Airport. The new airport outlet is expected to commence operations in August, enabling foreigners to apply for short-term SIM cards, Wi-Fi rentals, and other services upon arrival.
