Energy saving cuts costs for enterprises in Zhejiang

"The switch temperature is normal," said Wang Jiangjie, while holding an infrared thermometer to inspect a bid to safeguard its safe use of electricity for production.
Meanwhile, another teammate issued a written rectification notice to the company, urging its staff to rectify some hidden dangers, such as the "replacement of fire extinguishers in the distribution room", to ensure safe electricity use.
After the check-up, Chen explained to the company staff that the 24 hours a day can be usually divided into peak periods —the period with high electricity demand — and valley periods — the period with low electricity demand.
"At present, your proportion of electricity consumption in the valley period is less than 50 percent, which is unreasonable. You can save 200,000 yuan each year in electricity consumption if you make minor adjustments to the 15,000-metric-ton production of the KN-R products," Chen said.
Chen also helped the company staffers to better forecast the electricity consumption in subsequent months and improve its forecasting accuracy, to help it reduce costs and raise efficiency.
"After listening to your explanation of the new policy, the adjustment direction of our production plan for a large industrial production like us is now clearer, and we thank you for your comprehensive consideration for us," said Xu Zhiyong.
Cao Yajia added that in the future, they will try to let the local enterprises clearly understand the better use of electricity, and save money, to aid their progress.
