Assistance by State Grid Taihe County Power Supply boosting local economic development

After the Spring Festival holiday, the production of Taihe noodles — a specialty food of Taihe county, Anhui province — has seen large-scale resumption. To ensure the industrial demand for electricity, State Grid Taihe County Power Supply organized a Party member service team to provide door-to-door services to local restaurants and noodle processing enterprises.

In a production workshop of a noodle ingredient enterprise in Dazhang village, Jiuxian town, workers are busy making noodle ingredients. According to Ding Zhenchao, the head of the enterprise, the daily production of noodle ingredients has reached two metric tons since work resumed.

"When I was considering whether to apply for a three-phase electricity service in the past few days, I didn't expect the local Jiuxian Power Supply Station could come to my place. They uploaded the relevant documents online, handled the matter on the spot, and conducted on-site inspections. Thanks to this, I didn't have to run around, and the matter was easily settled," said Ding.

Due to the increasing number of orders for noodle ingredients, Ding decided to expand the production line and establish a fully automated electric kitchen. After learning about Ding's needs, State Grid Taihe County Power Supply's Jiuxian Town Central Power Supply Station took the initiative to contact him and provide door-to-door services, assisting the enterprise in handling the three-phase electricity service online.

"In the case of electricity service related to the noodle ingredient processing enterprises and noodle restaurants in our jurisdiction, we conducted on-site one-on-one inspections of power supply lines and addressed any potential hazards. We listened to customers' demands and provided safe and reliable electricity," said Wang Hui, a staff member from the State Grid Taihe County Power Supply.

Since the start of work after the holiday, State Grid Taihe County Power Supply has visited 56 resuming enterprises. They have been assisting users in eliminating nine defects, providing precise and efficient electric power services and helping enterprises achieve a good start after the festival.

Currently, Taihe county is actively expanding the noodle industry to create related projects. The area has formed four major industries: noodle flour, noodle meat, noodle ingredients, and noodle dishes. This effort aims to establish Taihe noodles as a featured industry to promote the local economic development.
