Is the World Internet Conference just a 'conference'?

The first World Internet Conference (WIC) Wuzhen Summit took place in 2014, and in 2022 the World Internet Conference Organization was established.

The WIC is more than just a "conference" – it's an official international organization dedicated to promoting the building of a community with a shared future in cyberspace.

This year marks the 10th year of the WIC Wuzhen Summit and the organization has organized a diverse array of events to celebrate the milestone, including the Nishan Dialogue on Digital Civilization and the 2023 WIC Wuzhen Summit, as well as the establishment of the 10-Year Commemorative Honor, the Global Youth Leadership Program, the WIC "AI for Social Good" program and three working groups on artificial intelligence, cross-border e-commerce, and data.
