WIC releases 13 selected cases for jointly building a community with shared future in cyberspace

The Release & Presentation of Outstanding Cases of Jointly Building a Community with a Shared Future in Cyberspace was held in Wuzhen, East China's Zhejiang province, on Nov 7.

Zhuang Rongwen, minister of the Cyberspace Administration of China and chair of the World Internet Conference, Francis Gurry, vice-chair of the WIC, Wang Song, vice-minister of the Cyberspace Administration of China, Ren Xianliang, secretary-general of the WIC, and Ke Jixin, vice-governor of Zhejiang, attended the event and presented commemorative trophies and certificates.

Since May this year, the WIC has collected over 200 cases from around the world. After undergoing expert evaluation, 13 cases of great international influence, outstanding social value, and rich presentation forms were selected for release during the event.

The Release and Presentation of Outstanding Cases of Jointly Building a Community with a Shared Future in Cyberspace is an integral part of the WIC Wuzhen Summit. Since 2021, the WIC has annually solicited practice cases of jointly building a community with a shared future in cyberspace, and received extensive participation from enterprises, international organizations, research institutions, and universities.
