Today's world has encountered the severe situation of a growing deficit in peace, development, security and governance. In terms of peace and stability, both the hot wars and other actions disrupting global integration should be taken into account. Political factors in the world have also hampered economic advancement regionally and globally, at the cost of well-beings of humanity, such as trade protectionism and construction of "small-yard, high-fence" to escalate discriminatory regionalism. Therefore, a broader perspective is required to tackle the peace and security issues.
