Lighting up the road to happiness

During Oct 17-18, the Rainbow Communist Party Member Service Team of the State Grid Dongying Hekou Power Supply Co made a move to promote the work based on the principle of "doing practical things and meeting people's concerns", and increase the satisfaction level of the public in Hekou district in Dongying, Shandong province.

The team once again came to the grid co-construction community, Herui Community, to continuously strengthen the communication and integration with local citizens, and to help the integration of the electric power grid with local grids. They took practical actions to fulfill people's well-being and promoted the thematic education work to go deep and solid.

During the visit, members of the company's service team implemented the mechanism of "people's needs, we meet" and "complaints received, immediately handled". They went into Party and public service centers, and residents' homes with no household missing out.

The team comprehensively understood the ideological dynamics and demands of the community residents. By distributing a "letter" and questionnaires, they collected issues and suggestions from local citizens. In response, they docked with the Herui Community, summarized the visits, established a work ledger and conducted telephone surveys to prevent missing the issues and problems reflected by people.

"Thank you for your meticulous service and thoughtful care for us elderly people," said an elderly citizen from Herui Community to the team during their visit.

"The integration of government and enterprise grids enables all sectors of society to cooperate more closely. The arrival of Party members of the Rainbow Service Team of the company provides detailed value-added voluntary services for community residents, which helps achieve a good community linkage," said Li Zhenqing, head of the Herui Community street office.

Up to now, the company's Party members have carried out more than 70 visits and voluntary services, which truly improved community residents' happiness and livelihood.

In the next step, the Party committee of State Grid Dongying Hekou Power Supply Co will coordinate and promote the work of theme education, leverage the advantages of Party members' teams to make services sink to the public, respond to whatever the public request, thus increase the well-being and satisfaction of the masses, said the company.
