China welcomes Australia's efforts for collaboration in clean energy

China welcomes the recent decision by the Australian government to recommend the termination of anti-dumping measures against the exports of Chinese wind tower, said the Ministry of Commerce in an online statement.
According to the factual disclosure report released by Australian government on Monday, it was determined that the termination of these measures, slated for April 16, 2024, would not inflict substantial harm on domestic industry within the Oceanic country.
China views this as a positive development that paves the way for deeper collaboration between the two countries in the clean energy sector, contributing to the global efforts to combat climate change and fostering mutual benefit, said the ministry's spokesperson in the statement.
