A total of 36 family teams representing 100 sailors set sail on Dongting Lake for the occasion of the National Day and in commemoration of the launch of the China Family Sailing Race-Yueyang Stop on Sunday. [Photo provided to chinadaily.com.cn]

Over the last six years of the China Family Sailing Race, over 4,000 families took part, fully displaying the attraction of the competition. One can easily get fascinated by the sport, and even more, if the event is held in a place with a rich history.
