Sometimes the staff comes across newly hatched baby turtles that are too weak to escape from their nests, which are made of stone and sand. They rescue the babies and take care of them until they can survive on their own in the wild. Then they are released into the sea.

Huang Cheng, has been protecting sea turtles since 2015.

"I want to patrol and protect the turtles until I can't do it anymore," he said. "The more we devote and invest, the more is to be done. When you protect sea turtles long enough, you get attached to them."
