Moving stories strengthen China-Egypt bond

The Fifth Egypt Alamin New Town Project is the largest spot exchange project signed by Chinese enterprises in Egypt. During the construction process, there were a lot of impressive stories that reflect China-Egypt friendship.

Hasson, a humorous and talkative Egyptian boy, who works as an on-site translator for the engineering department of the project, often jokes about himself being a "lifeguard", who takes care of everybody. He is also a labor administrator, who pays attention to the situation of every worker and provides timely psychological assistance if they have personal problems.

Hasson says that Chinese enterprises have always helped him treat problems positively, and he is happy to help others.

Another on-site translator is Diaa. On the site of construction, he patiently explains the Egyptian standards to the Chinese workers.

During the communication with Chinese workers, he fell in love with Chinese culture, and became a real Chinese fan. He is a frequenter of the "Letter and Harmony" bookstore; He also actively participates in the sketch arrangement of "No Knowledge is Terrible", which was acted successfully on the reception of Alexander consulate and embassy in Egypt.

Omar, who once went to Minzu University of China for one year and returned to Egypt due to the pandemic, is now trained to play a role in the human resources of the project.

Omar often says: "How you treat others decides how others will treat you." He has been practicing that, which has also brought more impact of mutual integration to the Chinese and Egyptian employees.

On the journey of the Belt and Road Initiative, the Chinese builders also help the construction of Alaman New City with their experience and sprint to achieve the goal of all structural projects by the end of the year. They will keep contributing to strengthening the friendship between China and Egypt.
