Investigation launched against Taiwan trade restrictions

The Ministry of Commerce has launched a trade barrier investigation into Taiwan's trade restrictions against products from the Chinese mainland.
The investigation, starting Wednesday, will involve 2,455 products, mainly agricultural produce, minerals, chemicals and textiles.
The investigation is expected to conclude before Oct 12, and will be extended to Jan 12 if necessary.
