Starting from March 1, China will grant zero tariff treatment to 98 percent of tariff lines on products from Ethiopia, Burundi and Niger, according to an online announcement by the Ministry of Finance on Friday.

The Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council made the decision on Feb 13, based on its announcement last year regarding giving such treatment to lesser developed countries and an exchange of letters between the Chinese government and the governments of these three countries.
