5G CRUISE SHIP

Adora Cruises, a brand of Chinese cruise ships under CSSC Carnival Cruise Shipping, announced on Thursday that it has partnered with China Telecom to bring 5G connectivity to its first China-built large cruise ship. The cruise ship will be equipped with advanced wireless communication technology. A Wi-Fi6 and mobile 5G network will be available to provide passengers onboard with the same network experience as on land.

CULINARY DELIGHTS

The Chinese Food Festival, which was held in the Swedish capital Stockholm on Jan 8, featured delicious Chinese food and a related culture show. More than 200 guests, including representatives from the Swedish government, business circles and academia tasted signature dishes such as chrysanthemum fish, braised pork belly and traditional Chinese snacks.

With Lunar New Year around the corner, Crowne Plaza Beijing Zhongguancun has launched four Family Reunion Dinner set menus at its Rouge Chinese restaurant. Multi-award-winning chef Li Aixiong from Guangzhou, Guangdong province, has been invited to the hotel to help craft the Family Reunion Dinner. Rouge also offers an a la carte menu for small groups.

As Shanghai's highest iconic rooftop venue on the 58th floor, the Flair Rooftop Restaurant & Bar at The Ritz-Carlton Shanghai, Pudong, which is located in the center of the city's Lujiazui financial district, officially reopened on Nov 17. With a spectacular view of the Oriental Pearl Tower, Flair is a perfect spot for viewing the stunning city skyline, the Huangpu River and The Bund, as well as offering breathtaking sunset views in the heart of the city.

Shangri-La Qiantan Shanghai will embrace the Year of the Rabbit with a New Year's Eve dinner, premium poon choi, lo hei and other delicacies, also including colorful festival gifts. For guests who prefer to celebrate at home, the hotel has prepared half-made takeaway gourmet meals to choose from.
