Russian blogger says 'China puts people first'

A Russian blogger living in China thought highly of China's fight against the COVID-19 pandemic and said the country has always put the people and people's lives first.
In the past three years, China's epidemic prevention and control measures, which have been adjusted according to the current time and situation, have always put the people in the highest position.
Sabina Makarova, a blogger from Russia, was in Beijing when the epidemic first broke out. She said she has fully felt that the Chinese government has made the greatest effort to ensure the safety of ordinary people.
"A list of 24-hour hospitals was posted on every door in my residential community. The news media immediately released self-protection measures to society and medical experts also gave an easy-to-understand explanation of the epidemic to the common people," Makarova recalled.
Makarova said measures like nucleic acid testing, health codes and vaccines were in place in time and have built a "protective wall" for everyone.
Makarova was also moved by the Chinese people's spirit of working together to fight the pandemic, saying that the Chinese people are united and have cooperated to overcome difficulties.
"I have been staying in China during the three years of the epidemic and have truly felt what it means to put the people first," she said.
