The 2022 Charming City of Jinan – Conference on Industrial Cooperation with Central and Eastern European Countries (CEEC) was held online on Dec 5.

The Jinan Sub-council of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), and Greenland Global Commodity Trading Hub signed trilateral cooperation memorandums with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Prahova in Romania and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kronstadt in St. Petersburg during the conference.

Meide Group, Jinan Shengquan Group, and Greenland Global Commodity Trading Hub promoted themselves during the conference.

According to Zhang Zhe, director of Jinan Sub-council of the CCPIT, Jinan has close economic and trade cooperation with Central and Eastern European countries in steel, furniture and furniture parts, machinery and equipment, electronic products and other industries.

In addition, Jinan's four major industries – big data information technology, intelligent manufacturing and high-end equipment, fine steel and advanced materials, and biomedicine and health – boast a solid international development foundation.

The Jinan Sub-council of the CCPIT plans to continue to cooperate with economic and trade public relations agencies in Central and Eastern European countries to boost international production capacity cooperation, infrastructure construction, technological innovation transformation, and trade and investment promotion.
