Dalian, Zhejiang players suspended for kicking each other

BEIJING -- Dalian Pro's Sun Guowen and Zhejiang FC's Gu Bin have been suspended for four and three matches respectively for kicking each other in a Chinese Super League game.
On top of the suspension, Sun and Gu were respectively fined 40,000 and 30,000 yuan, according to a statement released by the Chinese Football Association on Monday.
"In the 71st minute of the game held on July 6, Sun Guowen of Dalian Pro committed an act of violence, kicking Gu Bin of Zhejiang FC in the stomach," the statement read.
Gu then kicked back in retaliation, the statement added.
After checking VAR, the referee sent both players off, in a match which Zhejiang FC won 2-0.
