Brazilian coach Ferretti leaves FC Juarez

MEXICO CITY -- Veteran Brazilian manager Ricardo Ferretti has parted ways with Mexican top-flight club FC Juarez after just 11 months in the role.
The announcement came less than a week after Juarez suffered a 4-0 defeat to Queretaro on the final match day of the Liga MX regular season. The Bravos finished last in the 18-team standings with just three wins from 17 games.
"Juarez FC recognize the work done by Ricardo Ferretti during his time with this institution," read a statement on the club's official website.
"After a discussion with the directors, it was mutually agreed that he would leave the position," it added.
Ferretti, 68, guided Juarez to five wins, six draws and 20 losses after taking charge in June last year.
The new Liga MX season is due to begin in July.
