President Xi Jinping said he stands ready to work with Polish President Andrzej Duda to guide the sound and stable development of the China-Poland relationship in the long term so as to benefit the two peoples during their meeting on Sunday.

Xi called on the two sides to show respect and care for each other's core interests and major concerns, enhance communication on major international issues and firmly uphold the international system and basic norms governing international relations.

To bring bilateral pragmatic cooperation to a new level, Xi said that China encourages its enterprises to invest in Poland and believes that the Polish side will provide a fair, just and nondiscriminatory business environment for them.

As this year marks the 20th anniversary of cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European countries, Xi said China will establish a China-CEEC wholesale market of agricultural products in Poland.

Duda said his country hopes to expand two-way trade and investment cooperation with China for more Polish agricultural products to enter the Chinese market.
