Aruba, a global leader in network access solutions, is looking to hold on to lucrative opportunities in the China market, as a rising number of Chinese companies are expanding their overseas business and face networking challenges.

Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company, has announced a strategic managed service provider partnership with China Telecom Global to offer better network infrastructure solutions for enterprises.

The new partnership will help expand CTG's portfolio with Aruba's edge-to-cloud networking solutions.

The two sides said it will allow Chinese companies to establish secure infrastructure and create innovative digital applications in their global expansion, which will also help them better grasp the vast development opportunities in overseas markets.

They believe the new partnership will meet those enterprises' rising need to have reliable, seamless, and efficient access to global networks to facilitate the increasing number of internet of things devices and data streams.

Xie Jianguo, general manager of Aruba China, said the new partnership will create new opportunities for both sides.

"The partnership between Aruba and China Telecom Global will help Chinese enterprises deal with the challenges in the field of corporate networks in their global expansion process," Xie said.

Going forward, Xie said Aruba will continue to grow as a managed service provider by working with carriers in China this year.

He An, vice-general manager of China Telecom Global, said the new strategic partnership will better satisfy Chinese companies' needs to build a safe and efficient network infrastructure overseas, which will help them extend their overseas presence.

Under the partnership, the two sides will jointly promote the use of all products under Aruba's portfolio of solutions, including the SD-WAN platform.
