Woman's rescue video wins praise online

Li said she was a former member of the local swimming team and keeps up the habit of swimming in warm seasons.

"But I couldn't get ashore, feeling exhausted. So I rested for a few minutes in the water before I could climb over the fence with others' help," Li said.

"I have to admit that I'm no longer as I used to be," she added, saying she had severe muscle soreness after the incident.

"My family blamed me for a whole day... But it is my parents' family spirit that encouraged me to help without hesitation," she said.
